Pacific Pie Co. is inviting all Portland pie lovers to show off their mad
baking skills in honor of National Pie Day. The bakery café is calling for entries for its Second Annual Pie Contest,
naming one amateur and one professional baker the 2013 PDX Pie Champion.

When: Sunday, January 20, 2013, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Where: Pacific Pie Co., 1520 SE 7th Ave., Portland
Categories: Professional and amateur divisions for both sweet pies and savory pies
Rules for entry: Register in advance by emailing info@pacificpieco.com or no later than 1:00 p.m. on the day of the
ready to eat, and accompanied by a recipe.

Judging: A panel of prestigious, self-proclaimed pie aficionados have been assembled to taste all the entries and
23rd, the official National Pie Day, for a slice of sweet pie for $3 each (normally $4) or taste of one of the
classic or creative pie flavors on the menu that entire week.
