Celebrate Pi Day With Us!

posted by Sarah, March 12, 2010

Pi Day
is a national geek holiday celebrated every year on March 14 - 3/14. To celebrate the mathematical importance of Pi (π) math nerd and foodie communities alike celebrate. Here in Portland, we at Pacific Pie Company will be baking up a savory way to enjoy Pi Day.

This Sunday, visit the savory pie shop on Ankeny and choose from your favorite of our savory pie offerings. What is an Australian style meat pie? Local, organic vegetables and humanely rasied meat wrapped up in rich buttery crust. Choose from a whole menu of delicious flavors, ranging from Sunday Roast Lamb to Creamy Chicken to Beef & Mushroom.

To celebrate Pi day, complete your meal with your favorite drink, a choice of sides and a fresh baked cookie for just $3.14 more.

Our drink selection includes juice, Thomas Kemper all-natural soft drinks, kombucha, Guayaki yerba mate, Viso, Portland Roasting Coffee, and Mighty Leaf teas.

Your choice of delectable side dishes freshly prepared on Pi Day Sunday will include organic green salad, homemade curried cauliflower soup, or organic baby spinach salad with blue cheese, apples, and hazelnuts.

And, to close out this homemade meal, treat yourself to a fresh homemade white & dark chocolate chunk cookie.

All paired with one of Pacific Pie Company's signature savory pies, this artisan meal for under $10 adds up to one tasty deal this Pi Day.
